Ken Howell Memorial Scholarship

An applicant must meet the following scholarship eligibility requirements:

• Chosen/declared major in an agriculture field of study.
• Current Hartnell College student or graduating high school senior who will attend Hartnell College as a full-time student for the 2024-25 school semester (Fall/Spring).
• Maintain at least 12 units per semester.
• Possess and maintain a minimum 2.5 grade point average.
• Financial need will be considered.

    • a) Why you have chosen a career in the agriculture field?
    • b) What experiences you have had that relate to your chosen field (for example: 4-H, FFA, completion of Agriculture courses, part-time job, internships, etc.)?

  3. 3. What do you feel is the most important issue currently affecting the Agriculture Industry? Share some possible solutions that you have considered.
