Diaz-Infante Family Scholarship
The Diaz-Infante Family Scholarship is for farmworkers, children of farmworkers, or low income students. The recipients must maintain a 3.0 GPA and intend to pursue a career in business, engineering, healthcare, communications, or education. Students must be enrolled in 12 units or more to receive this scholarship.
Alfred Diaz-Infante and his family created this scholarship in honor of his parents, Luis and Evelia Diaz-Infante. Luis and Evelia were Mexican immigrant farmworkers who established their home in the Salinas Valley in 1961. They were very active in the Migrant Education Program and they instilled in their children and grandchildren the importance of higher education.
